Half Term Rock Painting for Kids

Bring your youngsters along to the Museum during the Half Term Holidays in 2019 and have fun painting and finding rocks around the Museum grounds, plus other craft activities. Bit of a Do

A 'Bit of a Do' is in aid of St. Andrew’s church repair fund & St. Clare’s Hospice. There will be various items for sale, including books, puzzles, cards and gifts. Stalls to try your luck at, including a Raffle and Tombola. And plenty of refreshments, such as soup, rolls, tea, coffee and cakes. Please join us!

Bring along your classic or modern vehicles together with anything of interest Steam Pump Tea Room OPEN serving breakfasts, hot/cold food, home made cakes and refreshments Unless shown below otherwise, the Miniature steam train will NOT be running for train rides and "Marshall" the Lilleshall pumping engine will NOT be running. Some engines will be run on Compressed Air

Power of 75 Club

The Museum will be holding an afternoon tea club each 4th Sunday of the month as part of the Maldon Livewell Campaign, filled with oodles of tea/coffee, scrumptious cake and a carousel of fun/informative/entertaining activities relating to science, engineering, art, technology and maths and nutritional guidance. This will offer a regular face-to-face friendly link every month for people over 75 years of age who have little or no contact with family or friends. £2 per person per session

East Essex Astronomy Club introduction to astronomy day.

The East Essex Astronomy Club invite you to a day course to introduce you to the hobby of astronomy. The day is split into 3 sections, an introduction to astronomical terms and how to find your way around the sky, an introduction to binoculars and telescopes and a basic guide on how to take pictures of the night sky. Lunch will be provided. In the evening, weather dependent, there will be a chance to put what you ave learned in to practise using telescopes belonging to club members. LADS - Rope
