Maldon Carnival Summer Fete

Maldon Carnival Summer Fete. Lots to buy, eat, music to listen to and dance groups to watch. There will also be a lot of fun things for all the family to see and do including: Essex Reptiles, Magician, Mini Trampolines, Glitter Tattoos, Bouncy Castles, Go Karts, Face Painting, Craft Tent, Psychic Readings, Live Band, Big & Little Sing, Glastonbabies, Licensed Bar.

Stow Maries at War

Stow Maries Great War Aerodrome, Hackman's Lane, Purleigh   CM3 6RJ
National-level living-history event focussing on the British Armed Forces of the Great War. From Soldiers to Nurses and Airmen, their uniforms, weaponry, equipment and training, as well as the everyday tasks of the Great War soldier. There will be authentic demonstrations showing various skills which a soldier would have had to acquire to enable him to do his job "in the field". YouTube Channel, The Great War Channel, will also be on site, filming and interviewing.
Cost: £15 per adult, free for children under 16

Maldon Triathlon at Promenade Park
Sunday 22nd July 2018

The Maldon Triathlon will celebrate its 8th anniversary, and there are Sprint and Olympic distances available. The event consists of an Open Water Swim in the River Blackwater, a Cycle on the quiet and scenic roads of the Dengie Peninsula and finishes with a lapped Run around the beautiful Promenade Park and Hythe Quay. With plenty of facilities for the whole family, activities throughout the day and countless cafes lining the route, the event is sure to draw a huge crowd of spectators.

A fun and educational experience aboard the historic Thames Sailing Barge 'Pudge' for children aged between 5 & 11.
