The Passion of Christ by Arthur Somervel

An oratorio by the British composer Arthur Somervell for Easter, composed in 1914. We will have four soloists plus organist Duncan Archard joining us for this event .

East Essex Astronomy Club April Meeting

This month the talk will be on photometry, how to accurately measure the brightness of stars to measure changes in their condition and potentially look for exoplanets. . Bring along your classic or modern vehicles together with anything of interest Steam Pump Tea Room OPEN serving breakfasts, hot/cold food, home made cakes and refreshments Unless shown below otherwise, the Miniature steam train will NOT be running for train rides and "Marshall" the Lilleshall pumping engine will NOT be running. Some engines will be run on Compressed Air

Fun-4-Kids Community Day

Fun Day full of Childrens activities The show will include: karate, kickboxing, pony rides, ice-creams, kids crafts, toys, bouncy castles & rides, instrument zoo, museum hunts, cheerleading, dog agility show, dance, youth orchestra, creepy crawlies, local archaeological exhibits, model exhibits, magician, pantomime, pie throwing, candle rolling, children’s books and children’s party entertainment. Maldon Mud Race
